“My local library branch started doing this “Blind Date with a Book” thing, thought you guys might like it. The shelf was full when we got there, but was like this as we were leaving. The books are wrapped in paper and have different designs on them, and then a few words vaguely describing the subject matter of the book. Things like “Drama”, “Plot Twists”, “espionage”, etc. The only thing exposed on the book is the barcode that you use to scan the book out. I thought it was a pretty cool idea.”

So I finished Meg Cabot’s Abandoned today! It was awesome!!! I loved the story. I will be returning it to the library soon, but I will purchase my own copy for my bookshelf!

Blogging

It’s been forever since I’ve been on Tumblr.

Every time I try to create a blog it just isn’t successful! I can’t seem to make myself post regularly. I’m more of a random sporatic kinda gal. I post when I feel like it. When I use blogger it feels like I’m writing a tome for some reason. It feels like a chore instead of fun.

I love Twitter because it’s short and sweet. I would like more characters though.

Maybe I should try posting to Tumblr more? What do you think? What’s your favorite way to macro or micro blog?
